This page is about us, Don, Sherry and Eddie, and our "children".
Our home is called Mt. Wade because of the wind. We live at the top of a hill, where the wind always blows.
We are the Wades, Don and Sherry, and our son Eddie. We are Boomers; according to AARP we are also "Seniors". Our interests are varied; Don likes Motorcycles, animals, and The Three Stooges. I like John Wayne,Stephen King, old horror movies,Coca Cola collectibles, and animals, animals, animals.
Don and I have been married 16 years. Don adopted Eddie in 1986, and we became a real family. We have had many pets over the years, they are also our "children".
Eddie"The Dude"
Eddie was born in 1966. He has microcephaly, which means roughly "small head". He is happy and healthy, and even though he was never expected to walk or talk, he does both, and much more. He is my good friend, and a real joy to live with (most of the time). Eddie likes hats, he has over a hundred, and motorcycles. He has his own little convertible, (a sidecar on our Honda).
The first four pages of this site will probably be of interest only to friends and family. The next four pages are hobbies of mine, ones that mostly anyone can enjoy.
