Bernie Strahn Francis Miley Strahn, 1911-1968

Bernie Tilton Strahn and Francis Miley Strahn were married in 1945. They had 2 children, Stephanie, who was born in 1946, and Sherry, who was born in 1948. Francis had one daughter by a previous marriage, Lois Strahn. Francis Miley Strahn was born and raised in Hamilton, Illinois. His parents were Ivy Kouns Strahn and Clarence Strahn. When he was young his parents divorced, and his mother married Charlie Loeffler. His father died at the age of 57.       Bernice Tilton  was born and raised in LaHarpe, Illinois.  Her mother was Maude Mesecher Tilton, her Father was Stephen Tilton. Stephen died at the age of  75 of a heart attack, Maude died at the age of 89 in the Mt. Sterling Nursing Home. Bernie had one brother, Jim Mesecher, and two sisters, Bessie and Viola.

Bernie Tilton Strahn had 2 sisters and one brother. Above is the only surviving sibling, my Aunt Viola with Bernie on the right.	Randallyn Smith with her Grandparents, Wayne Thomas and Viola Thomas. Isnt' she cute?
